Assigning People to Shows
Add cast, crew, and volunteers to your production:
- Add People: Click "Assign People" to add existing people from your directory
- Multiple Assignments: Select multiple people at once to bulk-assign them
- Several characters per actor: A cast member can play as many characters as the production needs. When adding or assigning someone, pick every character they cover; to add parts to an actor already on the show, click the pencil next to them and tick the extra characters. Their role on the roster then lists all of them ("Baker, Wolf"), and the Characters tab shows the same actor against each part
- Change several people's type at once: Tick the people in the list and choose Change type. Use this to fix a roster that came in as the wrong type — an imported class list that is all Cast, say, where half of them are really Crew. You can give the whole selection one title ("Deck Crew") or leave it blank to keep the titles they already have. Character names are set per person, so they are not touched; anyone moving off Cast is unlinked from every character they were playing
- Remove: Click the "Remove from Show" button to unassign someone
Note: People must first be added to your People directory before they can be assigned to shows. Type changes here apply to this show only — the person's type on other shows is untouched.
