Connect an AI Assistant

CueCall is available as a connector for AI assistants, so you can ask Claude or ChatGPT about your productions in plain language — "who's called for Thursday's rehearsal?", "which props does Act 2 Scene 3 still need?", "add a costume note that Cinderella's hem needs taking up" — and the assistant answers from, and writes to, the same productions you see in CueCall. Connect it from the assistant, not from CueCall: there is nothing to turn on here first.

  • In Claude: open Settings → Connectors (on claude.ai, or in the Claude desktop and mobile apps), choose Add custom connector, and enter the server URL https://www.cuecall.app/api/mcp. Where CueCall is listed in the connectors directory, pick it from there instead.
  • In ChatGPT: open Settings → Connectors (or Apps), choose Create Add, and enter the same URL. The CueCall connector works in chats and in deep research.
  • In other tools that speak the Model Context Protocol (Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and the like), add an HTTP MCP server at that URL. Leave the authentication method on OAuth; the tool registers itself with CueCall automatically.
  • Then sign in and allow: the assistant opens a CueCall page asking you to sign in (if you are not already) and to allow the connection. Press Allow, and you are sent back to the assistant, connected. Tick Read-only first if you want the assistant to look things up but never change anything.
  • Start by asking what it can see: "which productions can you see in CueCall?" lists your shows and your role on each — the assistant works from those.
