Finding Your Way Around

The menu on the left keeps the same shape everywhere in CueCall, so each destination is always in the place you last found it — including while you have a show open.

  • Organization

At the very top, and the frame around everything below it — picking a workspace here narrows your shows, people, and inventory to it.

  • Dashboard

Your overview of everything in progress. It stays in the menu while you're inside a show, so it's always one click back out.

  • Shows — or the show you're working in

All your productions, with a chevron to list them right in the menu. Open one and this same spot becomes that show, with its own menu underneath — Scenes, People, Inventory and the rest. Click the show's name to switch to another. It's the only part of the menu that changes, and it changes in place without moving anything around it.

  • Library

Everything across all your shows at once — people, inventory, notes, calendars, files and tasks. If you belong to a company, the name beside Library tells you which workspace you're looking at: switch it at the top of the menu and everything here follows.

  • Marketplace

Always the last item, for renting and lending with other theatres.

Quick Start Guide

  • Create Your First Show

Go to Shows and click New Production (or the “Add New Show” card). Enter the title, dates, and a brief description.

  • Add Your Scenes

Open your show and go to the Scenes tab. Add each scene with its act, number, title, and characters.

  • Add Cast & Crew

Go to People to add your team, then assign them to shows in the show's Cast & Crew tab.

  • Invite Collaborators

In the show's Overview tab, use the Collaborators section to invite team members by email.

  • Schedule Rehearsals

Use the show's Calendar tab or the global Calendars page in the Library menu to add rehearsals, performances, and other events.

Reminder emails: If a few days pass after you sign up and you haven't started a production or joined one, we send one email with a link to create your first show. If you start a production and, a few days later, most of these steps are still to do, we send one email listing what's left, each with a link straight to the right tab. That's at most two reminders, each sent once. Turn them off with the link in the email, or with Product announcements under Settings → Email preferences. Email about your own productions, such as invitations and rehearsal updates, keeps arriving either way.
