Conflict sheet

Also called: Conflicts, Availability.

A conflict sheet lists the dates and times a performer cannot rehearse, collected at audition so the director knows before casting who will be missing when. Conflicts not declared at audition are the stage manager's enduring grievance, and most companies cast around them rather than discover them.

In CueCall

Conflicts are collected on the audition form and kept on the person's record; the rehearsal plan reads them, cast members answer availability for each call in advance, and an unanswered call shows the conflict as the expectation.
