Front of house

Also called: FOH, House.

Front of house is everything on the audience's side of the proscenium — the lobby, the box office, the auditorium (the house) — and the staff and volunteers who run it: ushers, the house manager, concessions. The house manager and the stage manager agree when the house opens and when the show goes up.

In CueCall

Front-of-house volunteers are recruited on signup sheets with shifts and capacity. Ticketing and box office are deliberately out of CueCall's scope.
