Creating Characters
Click "Add Character" to create a new character entry.
- Character Name: The character's name (e.g., "Jean Valjean")
- Description: Brief character description for reference
- Played By: Select the cast member — or members — playing this role. Pick more than one for an ensemble part, a split track, or a double-cast role; the first person listed is treated as the primary performer, which is the name that appears where only one fits (mic plots, costume plots, programme credits)
- Understudies / Covers: Select any number of understudies or covers for this role
- Track: For ensemble members, specify the track (e.g., "Ensemble Track 1")
- Notes: Any additional notes about the character
- Marker Colour: The colour of this character's marker in blocking diagrams. Leave it alone on a new character and CueCall assigns a colour the show is not already using; pick one to override that
