Importing Mic Plot
Import mic plots from Excel files to quickly populate assignments:
- Upload File: Click "Import" and select a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls, .csv, or Apple Numbers) with your mic plot
- Smart Mapping: CueCall automatically detects the "Mic #" column and scene columns, then maps them to your show's scenes
- Character Matching: Character names in the spreadsheet are automatically matched to characters in your show
- Sheet Selection: If your file has multiple sheets, choose which one contains the mic plot
- Preview & Adjust: Review the automatic mappings and adjust any that weren't correctly detected before importing
- Replace or Add: Choose whether to replace existing assignments or add to them
File Format: Your spreadsheet should have "Mic #" in the first column, followed by scene names in subsequent columns. Each row represents a microphone number, with character names in the cells indicating who uses that mic in each scene.
