Mic Plot Versions & Undo

On the Mic Plot, press Versions to go back to an earlier plot. CueCall saves the plot automatically before anything replaces it, so a new generation that comes out worse never costs you the one you had:

  • Saved automatically: Before you Generate Plot Import Clear All, or restore a version, the plot as it stands is saved. An empty plot isn't saved, and neither is one identical to the newest version
  • Undo a generation: The "Mic plot generated" message has an Undo button that puts the previous plot straight back
  • Restore: Press Restore on any version, then confirm. The plot it replaces is saved as a version first, so you can flip back and forth between two plots to compare them
  • Save by hand: Give the current plot a name (for example "Tech week") and press Save to keep it as a version you can find again
  • What comes back: Every mic, note and manual-override mark. A scene or character deleted since, or a mic no longer numbered on the show, is left out and the restore tells you how many. A mic renumbered since keeps its new number
  • How many are kept: The newest 25 versions per show; older ones are removed as new ones are saved. You can also delete a version you no longer need

Anyone who can change the mic plot can save, restore and delete versions.
