Cue-to-cue
Also called: Q2Q.
A cue-to-cue is a technical rehearsal that skips from one cue to the next, running only the moments of the show where something technical happens — a lighting change, a scene shift, a sound cue — and jumping past the dialogue in between. It is how a production gets through its cue list in a day instead of a week.
