Tech week
Also called: Tech, Hell week.
Tech week is the final stretch before opening when the production moves into the theatre and the technical elements — lights, sound, scenery, costumes, cues — are rehearsed with the cast for the first time. It usually runs from the cue-to-cue through dress rehearsals to the first preview or opening, and it is when the cue sheet, the run sheet and the mic plot are finished.
In CueCall
Tech week is where the cue sheet, the run sheets and the mic plot are edited nightly, and where the readiness status on each scene is meant to turn green.
