AI for an Organization
An organization has its own AI billing, separate from every member's. Which one pays depends on the show, not on who is working:
- A show in an organization uses that organization's Gemini key and credits
- A personal show uses your own key and credits
- The two never mix. A company's credits can't be spent on a member's private production, and a member's key or balance is never used for company work.
- Everyone on the company's shows draws from the same balance, so a member with no credits of their own can still generate — and one who has plenty still can't, if the company is out.
- Use your own credits when the company is out. If the organization's balance can't cover a generation but yours can, the AI dialog offers "Use my personal credits for this show." Tick it and that run is billed to your own balance instead of the company's — a handy way to keep working without waiting for an admin to top the company up. It spends your credits only (never your personal Gemini key), it's a per-generation choice you make each time, and it only ever spends your balance — never one organization's credits on another.
Owners and admins manage it on the Billing page: buy credit packs for the organization, or add the company's own Gemini API key for unlimited AI on its shows with Google billing the company directly. Other members can see the balance and the recent activity — it's what their work spends — but can't change either.
