Who Can Help (volunteer skills)
A volunteer sign-up list says what each parent can do. When you need sewing help you want the opposite: the job as the heading and the people who can do it underneath, with a phone number. Reports → Who Can Help is that list, built live from the skills recorded on each person.
- Get skills in: import the sign-up sheet with Smart Import (People → Import). A Skills column holding several jobs separated by commas is split into one skill per person; a Parent (or Guardian) column makes the adult the person being imported, and the Student and Program columns record who they're volunteering for. Or add skills to anyone from their profile under "Can help with".
- Sections by job: one section per skill, scarce skills first (Sewing/alterations, Student measurements/fittings, Hair/wigs…), then the deep benches. Each shows how many people offer it.
- Cards: the volunteer's name, the student and program they're helping for, and their email and phone as tap-to-mail and tap-to-call links. Contact details appear only for roles that may see them.
- Call these first: people who signed up for most of the jobs are starred and listed at the top — when you need hands and don't mind whose.
- Tiles: how many volunteers, how many job types, the scarcest skill and the deepest bench.
- Search: filter by job ("sewing", "wigs"), by parent, or by student.
- Print / CSV: print the task-titled list for the costume closet door, or export one row per job and volunteer.
- It's live and it carries over: skills live on the person, not the show, so the same parents appear on next season's list without a new spreadsheet.
