Script Page Notes
Add notes to specific pages of your script using the side panel:
- Notes Panel: A collapsible panel appears on the right side of the script viewer
- Page-Specific Notes: Notes are automatically tied to the page you're currently viewing
- Add Notes: Click "Add" to create a note for the current page with department and author
- View All Pages: Toggle "Show all" to see notes from all pages, grouped by page number
- Filter by Page: When "Show all" is off, only notes for the current page are displayed
- Show/Hide Panel: Click "Hide Panel" or "Show Panel" to toggle the panel visibility
- Department Tags: Categorize notes by department (Blocking, Costumes, Lighting, etc.)
- Notify vs. Assign: The note dialog offers two separate actions — Notify Team Members sends a heads-up email, while Assign as Task turns the note into a tracked to-do for each selected person
- Assign as Task: Picking one or more people creates a task in each person's task list (linked back to the note). Useful when the note is action-required, not just an FYI
- Auto-Resolve on Completion: When all assignees mark their tasks Done, the note shows a strikethrough and a "Done" badge so you know it's handled. Reopening any task un-resolves the note
- Delete Behavior: Deleting an assigned note removes the note but keeps each assignee's task in their list (unlinked) so in-progress work isn't lost
