Additional Tracks
A song can hold multiple audio versions beyond its primary file — perfect for the guide vocal and performance track pairs that come with licensed show kits:
- Track Types: Full Mix, Guide Vocals, Performance Track, Piano Only, Minus Vocal, or Other
- Adding Tracks: Click "Add Track" on a song card, then either upload an audio file or choose Link (YouTube, etc.) and paste a URL, and pick its type
- YouTube Links: A YouTube video (a cast recording, a choreography reference) plays right on the song card. Watch, share, youtu.be, Shorts and live links all work
- Other Links: SoundCloud, Spotify, Google Drive and other links are shown as a link that opens in a new tab
- Playback: Every uploaded track gets the full audio player (speed control, A-B loop, position memory)
- Replacing a Link with a File: If you have the recording itself (the MP3 from your licensed show kit, or your own recording), click the upload icon on a link track and upload it. The track keeps its name, type and place in the list, and becomes a full audio player — the link is removed
- Editing: Rename a track, change its type or (for a link track) change its link with the pencil icon; remove it with the trash icon. An uploaded track's audio is replaced through its version history; to turn an uploaded track into a link, remove it and add a new one
Tip: Learn the melody with the Guide Vocals track, then rehearse performing with the Performance Track.
