Creating Slideshows

Create a new slideshow from Reports › Slideshows in any show. You can start with a blank slideshow or auto-generate one from your show data.

Blank Slideshow:

  • Click "New Slideshow": Opens the create dialog
  • Title: Give your slideshow a descriptive name (e.g., "Director Review - Act 1")
  • Description: Add optional notes about the slideshow's purpose
  • After creating: You'll be taken to the slideshow editor to add slides

Auto-Generate:

  • Click "Auto-Generate" tab: Switch to the auto-generate mode in the create dialog
  • Costume Plot: Creates one slide per character showing their assigned costume items with photos
  • Sets and Scenes: Creates one slide per scene showing set pieces and backdrops
  • Scene Walkthrough: Creates one slide per scene in order with characters, locations, and descriptions
  • Vision Board: Combines up to 3 images per slide grouped by vision board category (Costumes, Props, Sets, Backdrops, Hair & Makeup, Projections)
  • Actors in Costume: Creates one slide per actor from the show's Fitting Photos, titled with the actor and character, with the costume pieces in frame added as slide items. Needs at least one fitting photo
  • After generating: Edit the slideshow to customize slides, add notes, or remove unwanted content

Import:

  • Click "Import" tab: Switch to the import mode in the create dialog
  • Upload File: Upload a .pptx (PowerPoint) file directly from your computer
  • Google Slides URL: Paste a Google Slides sharing link — the presentation must be set to "Anyone with the link can view"
  • What gets imported: Text elements, images, and speaker notes are extracted as individually editable elements
  • After importing: All elements are fully editable — move, resize, edit text, or add new elements
