Sharing Slideshows Publicly
Share your slideshow with anyone using a public link. Recipients do not need a CueCall account to view the slideshow.
- Share button: Click "Share" in the slideshow editor to open the sharing dialog
- Publish: Click "Publish" to make the slideshow publicly accessible and generate a shareable link
- Copy link: Copy the public link to share via email, messaging, or social media
- Unpublish: Click "Unpublish" to revoke public access at any time. The link will stop working immediately
- Re-publish: Publishing again after unpublishing restores the same link, so previously shared URLs work again
Public viewer features:
- Read-only: Public viewers can browse slides but cannot edit or add notes
- Mobile-friendly: The public viewer is optimized for both mobile and desktop devices
- Fullscreen: Viewers can enter fullscreen mode for distraction-free viewing
- Keyboard navigation: Arrow keys, spacebar, and F key work for navigation
What a public link does not include:
- Image notes: Captions you write on individual images stay internal
- Slide and item notes: Dated feedback and the names of who wrote it are never sent to a share link
- Hidden slides: Slides marked hidden are excluded entirely
- Inventory details: Viewers see an item's photos and name only — never its cost, storage location, vendor or rental details
These are withheld from the data the page loads, not merely hidden on screen, so they cannot be recovered from a public link.
More in Slideshows
- Slideshows: Slideshow Overview — Slideshows let you create visual presentations of costumes, sets, props, or any items for director reviews, design presentations, or team collaboration.
- Slideshows: Creating Slideshows — Create a new slideshow from Reports › Slideshows in any show. You can start with a blank slideshow or auto-generate one from your show data.
- Slideshows: Managing Slides — Add, edit, reorder, and delete slides within your slideshow.
- Slideshows: Layering Text and Images — Slides stack photos and text elements front-to-back. Use the layer controls to move elements above or below each other — for example, to put a caption on top of a photo or tuck a background image…
- Slideshows: Adding Items to Slides — Add items from your inventory to each slide.
- Slideshows: Adding Your Own Images and Image Notes — Not every image on a slide has to come from your inventory. You can drop in one-off images — a reference photo, a fabric swatch, a sketch — and caption each one individually.
- Slideshows: Slideshow Notes — Add notes to slides and items for collaborative feedback.
- Slideshows: Presentation Mode — Present your slideshow in a fullscreen, distraction-free mode.
- Slideshows: Exporting Slideshows — Export your slideshow as a PDF for printing or sharing.
