Assigning Tasks to Songs
Tasks can be linked to a song so musical work is tracked next to the number it belongs to.
- Use Case: "Ben needs to learn the tenor harmony in the Act 1 finale" — assign the task to Ben with that song selected
- From the song: On the show's Songs page, each song has a Tasks section — click "Add Task" to create one already linked to that song
- From the task form: When creating or editing a task, pick a song from the Song dropdown
- Filter by song: The Tasks tab has a Song filter for narrowing the list to one number
- Track progress: Each song shows how many of its tasks are complete, and the status icon cycles Todo → In Progress → Done in place
Deleting a song keeps its tasks — they simply lose the song link, so work in progress isn't lost.
