Load-in

Also called: Get-in, Fit-up.

Load-in is the move of the production into the theatre: scenery, lighting, sound, costumes and props brought in, hung, focused and set. It is scheduled against the venue's availability and the crew's, and it is the first day the production exists in the space it will perform in.

In CueCall

Load-in is an event on the production calendar with the crew called by name, and set-build and load-in days are what volunteer signup sheets most often recruit for.
