Strike

Also called: Get-out.

Strike is the dismantling of the production after the final performance: the set taken down, lights and sound restored, costumes and props returned to stock or to their owners, and the venue handed back. Rented and borrowed items have to be accounted for, which is where an inventory with ownership status earns its keep.

In CueCall

Items marked rented or borrowed carry their return dates, and the inventory's checkout and return history is the record of what went back where. Volunteer signup sheets recruit the strike crew.
