By Actor: Looks, Photos, Wig Measurements and Allergies
The By Actor view of the Hair & Makeup tab answers the question a wig maker or makeup artist actually asks — what does this person wear, and what do I need to know before anything goes on their head or face. It is built from the cast assignments, so a double-cast part lists both actors with the same looks and an understudy appears under the part they cover.
- Looks: every look assigned to the parts the actor plays, with its reference image
- Look photos: the photos of this actor from the Photos view
- Hair & wig measurements: head circumference, front to nape, ear to ear and temple to temple (inches), natural hair colour and rough hair length — shown only when your role can see other people's measurements
- Makeup allergies: a listed allergy (latex, spirit gum, an adhesive, a brand) shows as an amber warning; "None" shows quietly as answered. The same warning appears on the Costumes tab's By Actor view and in the People tab's ruler dialog, the way a fabric allergy does
These values live on each person's Measurements tab, beside the costume measurements. To collect them from the whole cast, create a measurement request on Costumes › Measurements and press Hair & wig set — it ticks the head and wig measurements, hair colour and length, and makeup allergies in one press (see Costume Measurements under People).
