The Six Views
The Hair & Makeup tab has six views, switched with the row of tabs under the title. The address bar follows (?tab=hair-makeup&view=plot, for example), so a link to one view opens on it.
- Looks: The look library — one card per look with its name, step-by-step instructions, reference images, AI image generation and the characters it is assigned to. This is the view the tab used to be
- By Character: Each part with the performers and understudies cast in it, the looks assigned to it, and its rows on the plot (look numbers and changes, each linking to the scene). Assign a look to the character or remove one right on the card
- By Actor: Each cast member with the parts they play, the looks those parts wear, their look photos, and — when you are allowed to see measurements — their Hair & wig measurements and makeup allergies (see below)
- Plot: The character × scene grid of which look is on when, with each change. Click a cell to fill it in; download the plot as a PDF or a spreadsheet (see below)
- Photos: Photographs of actors in a look — a wig fitting, a makeup test, the finished look under stage light (see below)
- Notes: Every note tagged with the Hair & Makeup department, read-only. Add or edit a note on the Notes tab; it appears here as soon as it carries the department
