Track whether items are owned, rented, or borrowed.

Owned: Items you own permanently
Rented: Items rented from another organization with vendor details and due date tracking
Borrowed: Items borrowed temporarily from cast, crew, or external sources

Who sees the prices: every collaborator on the show can open the props, sets and costume pieces, including Parents and Volunteers, who are often the ones building and pulling them. What an item cost — its purchase price, rental price and deposit — is shown only to the production team, Cast included; Parents and Volunteers see the item with those fields blank. Give someone a crew role if they need the figures.

Borrowed Item Sources: When marking an item as borrowed, you can either:

Select a person from your People list (cast, crew, designers) - their contact info will be linked automatically
Enter an external source name for items borrowed from outside your production

The Rentals Due widget alerts you to items that need to be returned. The item's detail page shows full source information and contact details for easy return coordination.
