Email, and why district addresses bounce
- Student district addresses often refuse outside mail: Many districts configure them that way. CueCall flags it on the Registrants tab as Bounced, separately from Not sent, and shows the provider's own reason and whether a re-send is worth trying. A permanent rejection means that address will never accept mail
- When it bounces, hand the link over yourself: Open the registrant's row on the Registrants tab and their manage link is there, under Their manage link, with a Copy button. Pass it on however you are actually in touch — a text, a message to a parent, written down at the desk. Treat it as private: anybody holding it can change or cancel that registration, so it goes to the person it belongs to and never to a group
- Prefer parent addresses: Once a guardian email is on a registration, every audition email goes to the guardian with the performer copied in. It is also simply more likely to arrive
