What a student sees once they do log in
Roles are narrow by design, and enforced on the server rather than by hiding menu items. A student signing in as Cast or Student can:
- See: the production, all scenes and the cast list; production files; inventory; notes that tag them; and their own hours. They can write notes and take on tasks
- Not see anybody's contact details: no emails, no phone numbers, no emergency contacts. This is a server-side rule, not a hidden menu
- Not see another student's measurements: everyone always sees their own
- Not read every note: performers see only the notes that name them. Everyone else on the show sees all of them
- Not see auditions, registrants, budget or signup responses: those are leadership-only, because they carry other people's personal details
- The Parent and Volunteer roles are different in two directions: they see the full people list and all notes on the show, and they see the props, sets and costume pieces without what any of it cost. Worth knowing before you hand it out
