Cast pages for young performers
Performers under 13 do not sign in to CueCall. Instead, a production can give each one a cast page: a read-only page, reached by a private link, showing their part of the show. There is no account behind it and nothing to fill in, so nothing is collected from the child. The link goes to the parent or guardian on the performer's record, who decides whether to hand it on.
- Turn it on first: Open the show's ⋯ menu → Features and switch on Cast pages, in its own block below the feature list. Unlike the features above it, cast pages are off for every production until you turn them on. Only the production's leadership (anyone who can manage collaborators) can do this, and switching it off again closes every page at once
- Choose what a page shows: In the same place. Character, scenes, the upcoming schedule (with the performer's own calls highlighted — a rehearsal counts as their call when it names them, their character's track, or a scene they are in), announcements and costume pieces are on by default. The cast list (who plays whom, with other young performers listed by first name only) and notes tagged to the performer are off until you switch them on, because they name or quote other people
- Links are made for you: Turning cast pages on creates a link for every Cast and Student on the roster, and anyone added to the cast later gets one too. Nothing is sent until you send it. Crew and adults get a page only if you press Create link on their row
- Send, copy or open them: On the People tab, open Cast pages Send to everyone not yet sent mails each family once; a row's own Send (or Resend) mails just that one. Copy a link to share it another way, or Open it to see exactly what the family sees. A known minor's link is sent to the guardian email on their profile when there is one. With no guardian email, a performer under 13 has nowhere to be sent (the row says so), and a 13–17-year-old's link goes to their own email
- Export a spreadsheet: Export gives you every live link with the performer's name, character and the address it would be sent to, for a mail merge or a printed handout
- Replace or withdraw a link: Revoke closes the page for good, and a revoked link is not replaced automatically; press Create link on the row to issue a new one. Removing the performer from the show, or archiving the show, closes it too
- For families: A parent with a CueCall account whose email is the guardian email on the record also finds the page under Settings → Cast pages for your family
What is never on a cast page: anyone's email, phone, address, date of birth, measurements, documents or photos, and nothing the performer could type, post or send. Files and the script stay behind the signed-in app. Opening a page leaves no trace either: no analytics, and no record of when or how often it was read.
