Show Overview Tab
The Overview tab is your show's home page with key information at a glance.
- Get your production set up: For the first 45 days after a show is created, its Overview shows a short checklist for anyone who can edit the show: add your scenes, add your cast and crew, invite your production team, start your schedule (a first rehearsal, meeting or build day), and upload your script. Each step ticks itself off when the work is done — however you do it, including by importing a spreadsheet or populating with AI — and the checklist disappears once everything is ticked. Steps for features your production has turned off in Show Features are left out, and inviting the team only appears if you can manage collaborators. Click the X to hide it on this device.
- Populate with AI: Runs the same guided flow you're offered right after creating a show — it suggests scenes, characters, inventory, and songs from your show title, or from your documents: pick scripts and cast lists already in the show's Production Files, upload new ones, or both. Use it whenever you're ready, not just at creation time. Nothing is added until you review it, and on a show that already has content it only suggests what's missing. Requires permission to edit the show.
- Show Image: The primary image for your production, displayed on the Shows page and Dashboard. Click "Edit" to upload a new image or paste a URL. You can also remove the image if needed.
- Vision Statement: Your artistic vision for the production. Click "Edit" to update it, or use "Generate with AI" for a starting point.
- Show Style: A visual style guide (colors, era, aesthetic) applied to all AI-generated images for the show — inventory items, projections, and hair/makeup looks. Click "Edit" to set it, or generate one from your vision statement. AI image and prompt generation dialogs show a warning with links back here whenever the Vision Statement or Show Style hasn't been set yet — setting both first keeps generated results consistent with your production's creative direction.
- Vision Board: A visual reference board for your team that aggregates images and videos from multiple sources: • Uploaded images and videos (added directly to the board) - select a category when uploading
- • Inventory images (from costumes, props, sets, backdrops assigned to this show) - shown with category badge
- • Scene backdrops (uploaded to scenes) - shown with "Backdrop" badge
- • AI backdrops (generated from scenes) - shown with "Projections" badge
Categories: Costume, Prop, Set, Backdrop, Hair & Makeup, Projections, Videos
Filtering: Use the filter buttons above the board to show only media from a specific category.
Videos: Click on a video to play it fullscreen. Videos display a play button overlay on the thumbnail.
All media also appears in the Files tab.
- Team View: Toggle between Production Team and Cast to see who's assigned to the show.
- Collaborators: Users with login access to this show. Invite new collaborators by email.
- AI Prompt Word Filter: AI models sometimes refuse to generate content involving copyrighted or trademarked names (e.g., "Moana", "Frozen"). If AI generation is failing or being blocked for your show, open the kebab menu (three-dot icon) and select "AI Prompt Word Filter" to add the problematic words. They will be automatically stripped from all AI prompts before they are sent.
