Rehearsal tracks, song assignments and mic plots for music directors

The music department runs on files nobody can find: the rehearsal tracks on one laptop, the vocal assignments in a spreadsheet, the mic plot in an email. CueCall keeps the songs with the scenes they belong to, the tracks with the songs, and the people with the parts they sing.

What a music director uses it for

  • Songs organised by scene, each with the characters who sing it, so a cast member's page lists their numbers and a scene's page lists its music.
  • Several tracks per song — guide vocals, the performance track, piano only — and a practice player with speed control, A-B looping and position memory that the cast can use at home.
  • Sheet music viewed alongside the audio, with notes on each song.
  • A wireless mic plot as a character-by-scene grid, assigned by hand or with AI assistance from the cast list, exported to PDF or Excel for the sound team, with mic cues drafted for the scene changes.
  • Music as its own readiness discipline on every scene, and department-tagged notes that reach the band, the sound team or the cast.
  • Sitzprobe, vocal calls and sectionals on the production calendar, with the people called named on each event and their availability answered in advance.

What it does not do

CueCall does not notate or play scores and is not a rehearsal pianist: it holds the recordings and the sheet music you bring. Licensed rehearsal tracks stay under their own licence terms.

Pricing

  • The first two shows are free for a full year each, with every feature and unlimited users.
  • Additional shows are $14.99 per year each.
  • Unlimited shows: $49 per year.
  • Pricing is per show, not per user — adding your entire cast, crew and creative team costs nothing extra.
  • School district pricing with student login: $299 per year with five classrooms included, then $70 per classroom. This is the plan for schools that need district single sign-on and a signed data processing agreement. A classroom is a class or group of up to 35 students, with unlimited shows, and orders are paid by purchase order and invoice.
  • After a show's year ends there is a 7-day grace period, then the show becomes read-only. Data is never deleted.
