Production management software for community theatre
A community theatre runs several productions a season with volunteers who come and go, a costume shop that outlives every show, and a board that wants to know where the money went. CueCall is organised around scenes, so assigning an actor, renting a prop or logging an expense updates the cast list, the inventory, the budget and that scene's readiness at the same time.
Pricing is per show, not per user — the whole company costs nothing extra — and a theatre company can share one people roster and one inventory pool across every production.
What a community theatre uses it for
- Auditions and casting: public sign-up pages with time slots, role preferences, conflicts and headshots; panel ratings, callbacks and cast offers.
- Volunteer signup sheets for front of house, set build and strike, with automatic reminders and no account needed to sign up.
- A company-wide costume, prop and set inventory with photos, ownership status and rental checkout history — and a marketplace for renting pieces to and from other companies.
- Budgets per show with receipts and reimbursements, visible only to the people granted access.
- Nightly rehearsal reports drafted from the calendar, emailed to the production team and printable for the callboard.
- A public company page and production pages that present each show, its dates and cast to audiences.
What it deliberately leaves to other tools
CueCall is production-side. Ticketing, box office, patron CRM and donor management are out of scope — most companies pair it with a dedicated ticketing provider.
Pricing
- The first two shows are free for a full year each, with every feature and unlimited users.
- Additional shows are $14.99 per year each.
- Unlimited shows: $49 per year.
- Pricing is per show, not per user — adding your entire cast, crew and creative team costs nothing extra.
- After a show's year ends there is a 7-day grace period, then the show becomes read-only. Data is never deleted.
