AI Image Generator
Generate theatrical rendering images using AI for Costume, Prop, Set, and Projection items.
- Supported categories: Costumes, Props, Sets, and Projections
- Where to find it: The AI Generator card appears on the detail page for items in supported categories
- Context-aware: If the item is assigned to a character, show, or scenes, the AI uses that context to generate more relevant images
- AI Prompt button: Click "AI Prompt" to have AI generate a description based on the item's context
- Manual prompt: You can also type your own description directly
- Auto-save: Generated images are automatically saved to the item's photos. If the item has no existing images, the generated image becomes the primary image
- Primary image: To change which image is shown in the inventory gallery, click Edit and use the star icon to select a different primary image
- Delete images: Remove generated images by clicking Edit on the inventory item, then hovering over the photo and clicking the trash icon
Category-specific rendering:
- Costumes: Portrait-style (3:4) theatrical costume rendering on a dress form or mannequin
- Props: Square (1:1) studio-style product photography with clean background
- Sets: Widescreen (16:9) architectural/scenic design rendering
- Projections: Widescreen (16:9) digital backdrop image optimized for stage projection
Tip: For best results, assign the item to a show or scenes first. The AI will use the show vision and scene descriptions to create more contextually appropriate renderings.
