Inventory Notes
Add notes to inventory items to communicate about designs, fittings, repairs, and more.
- Where to find: On the Inventory Detail page, look for the Notes section
- Add a note: Click "Add Note" to create a new note
- Select a show: Notes are associated with a specific show, so you must assign the item to a show first
- Departments: Tag notes with a department (General, Costumes, Props, Set, Lighting, Sound)
- Use cases: Design feedback, fitting notes, repair requests, cleaning instructions, or any communication about the item
Tip: Inventory notes are great for costumers and directors to communicate about design decisions without needing to be in the same place.
